*Art Reach Networking Event*

Art Reach art gallery was an event I heard about on "Talk of Alabama". It was hosted by the Birmingham Art Association and this was the 2nd year this event was held. I am so thrilled I got the chance to network with Birmingham's own talented local artists. I learned that 4O artists entered to showcase their art at this event. It was a nice crowd, the people were so very friendly and welcoming which made the atmosphere pleasant to break out of my shell to actually hold meaningful conversations sharing some of our common interests in Art and also discussing future Art events that will be coming up in the near future. This was all a new experience for me. I learned that this organization has been around for a very long time and you also have a choice to join the organization with a monthly rate for membership. Some of the art pieces were Acrylic paintings, nature paintings, fashion art work, crafts & more these pieces were also for sale.

Featured Artist

Acrylic Painting featuring artist Ann Phillips

"Birmingham based Artist, Ann reflects her passion for color and the energy that it is created from the unique layering. The vivid use of color to create mood is reflected in many of Ann's pieces. She uses a variety of techniques to create a unique look to her paintings. She breaks down her own unique style of color and design-breaking the forms of nature into bold, abstract shapes & patterns."
