Brandon Maxwell launched his ready-to-wear women's label in 2015. Based in New York City he thrives to make women feel beautiful, powerful, and sophisticated. With his impeccable tailoring designs and craftsmanship he earned a spot in New York Fashion Week. Some of his ready-to-wear clothing have been worn by Lady Ga Ga, Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow and many others.

This year for New York Fashion Week I wanted to write about a designer I have never written on before. After watching countless award shows and red carpets, I would often hear Brandon Maxwell's name on the red carpet- worn by some of the hottest celebrities. I remember the clothing being well tailored (what he's known for) and the fabric being beautiful high quality. In this collection below the colors are sophisticated showing mostly black, white, with a pop of burgundy. The use of leather and fur is exquisite in his Fall 2017 collection.
