New York Fashion Week Feb 11-18 is off to a great start by displaying Fall 2016 collections from a total of 57 designers this year. On yesterday which was the third day of the eventful long days of fashion, Victoria Beckham presented her collection on Valentines Day displaying bits of color and lots of pin stripes and mix prints. Victoria's family including her four children and famous husband David Beckham all attended to support along with Ana Wintour-Vogue editor and chief. |
About Designer:
Victoria Beckham mostly known for being a member of the super girl group The Spice Girls got her start in the fashion world by modeling on the catwalk in 2000 during London Fashion Week. Later she acted as a British ambassador for Dolce and Gabanna along with briefly becoming the face of Roca Wear in 2003. Beckham started designing clothes in 2004-creating a limited fashion line for Rock and Republic called "VB Rocks." This collection consisted of denim jeans for the high end market an approx $300 a pair in the US. She continued making catwalk appearances for designers like Roberto Cavalli and making spreads of her work in magazines such as Elle, Harper's Bazaar and Vogue. Victoria slowly made a name for herself in the United States by working with Saks Fifth Avenue in New York creating a denim line. An experienced Beckham later launched her own fashion label in September 2008-Victoria Beckham label. She now headlines her own show during NY Fashion week her collection is known for her expensive sophisticated dresses and luxury handbags. In 2011 Victoria was rewarded the Designer Brand of the year award at the British Fashion Awards. Today she continues to make stunning elegant pieces for women's wear clothing.
